Brandon Watts - @1000wattssports

As the founder and owner of 1000 Watts Sports, LLC, Watts’ love for sports began at a young age. He excelled throughout his career in many of the sports he coaches today.

As a graduate from Barrington High School, he helped his football team to a IHSA Class 6A championship vs Wheaton Warrenville South. Watts moved on to played college football at Western Illinois University and North Park University as wide receiver and kick returner and received All American Honors. He went on to serve as the wide receiver and kick returner Assistant Coach and Graduate Assistant at North Park University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Finance. Watts soon found himself as the wide receiver and kick returner with the Chicago Slaughter where he was recognized by the CIFL as an All-Pro Athlete and Special Team player. He took a break from football and coaching to pursue opportunities in corporate America as the Advertising Sales Director at BG+H, a publisher of trade magazines but soon realized his heart remained with sports and coaching. That’s where he found his niche: Program Director with Hi-Five Sports Club Chicago. During his time with Hi-Five, he created curriculums and oversaw all of the sports programming including: NFL Flag Football, Lil’ Heisman and Kinder Club as well as birthday parties. He also currently works with Bizar Entertainment as the most requested Emcee, undoubtedly due to his infectious energy and contagious smile. Being the dynamic individual that he is, Watts also plays the role of Pride on a locally broadcasted children’s TV show on WTTW channel 11, Dr. Cool and Pride: The Big Show. On this show, he delivers positive messaging to children through coaching, fitness and music. He practices what he preaches and maintains his own physical health as a personal instructor with Shred 415 at various locations within the Chicagoland area.

Throughout all of his success and achievements, Watts has always dreamed of the day where he could own and run his very own children’s sports programming company. He finally made that dream a reality when he launched 1000 Watts Sports, LLC in Chicago in early 2016.
